The District Panchayat training programme conducted by Insight that drew a bead on taking ICT to differently abled in the remote areas of Thiruvananthapuram successfully concluded on 16 June 2010. The programme was jointly organized by Kerala State IT Mission and Thiruvananthapuram District Panchayat. It took off on 1 February 2010 and spanned over four months, covering nine centres in the district.

Nearly 140 differently abled persons enjoyed the benefits of the programme. The visually challenged were provided training at the Insight centre in Vellayambalam. Insight team visited various Panchayats to offer training to people with other physical and mental challenges. This effort was highly appreciated and the beneficiaries have requested Insight to conduct training sessions on long-term basis.
