Four visually challenged school teachers in the district of Kollam has found their way into the virtual zone. A five-day training programme on ICT was conducted by Insight for these teachers at Pattathanam Government SNDP School. The training will groom them to efficiently employ basic computer tools and the internet.

The training programme was inaugurated by Sri. K Bhaskar, Vadakkevila ward councilor, on 8 June 2010. The principal of the school Sri. R Radhakrishnan presided over the inaugural function. The programme is a part of the initiative to provide ICT training to visually challenged school teachers in association with the IT @ School project.
