Wayanad

The first one of the statewide workshops on Insight was held in the district of Wayanad on 8 June 2010. The workshop was designed to create an awareness on the working of Insight and to seek suggestions for extending the activities of Insight to other parts of the state. Sri. P V Sudhakaran, principal of Government VHSC Munderi, Kalpetta delivered the inaugural address. Though most of the participants of the workshop were visually challenged school teachers, there were physically disabled people from other backgrounds as well. The workshop received good response from the audience and the efforts of Insight was appreciated at the event.
