The ICT workshop for autistic children was flagged off by INSIGHT on 27^th of May.The workshop which spanned for 3 days, showcased various softwares like Gcompris which were designed to help children with autism to communicate and learn in an easy and comfortable manner using computers. The workshop was further enriched by the esteemed presence of Dr Arun mehta , who demonstrated the ‘SKID’ framework, developed by him. At least 20 families took part in the event, which elicited very encouraging responses.Also feedback was obtained requesting for more of such workshops in the future.

Classes for programmers interested in developing applications for children with special needs was also conducted as part of the workshop. The classes, conducted in the afternoon session on these days were attended by around 10 programmers.
