A sixty-day soft skills development and English language communication has started at Insight from 12th March 2009. Fourteen visually challenged students are attending the course. Apart from the regular sessions, training on Ubuntu and Orca screen reader is also being given to the participants. A few photos from the course are attached.

A three day training programme was conducted for the staff of Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for Handicapped, a project under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India, on Introduction to Ubuntu Operating System and Assistive Technologies for the Visually Disabled.

The training programme, held from March 4-6th, 2009, was attended by 5 Master Trainers from the VRC.

The training sessions were handled by Mr. Sukumaran, and Ms. Soori Gopan.
