Insight was invited to give a presentation on IT in Special Education at the 2 day National Seminar on Best Practices in IT-Enabled Teacher Education and Knowledge Management, held at the PWD rest house at Thycaud, Trivandrum. The two day event, held on the 17th and 18th of October, was a sincere attempt to bring the best of IT enabled education from around the country under one roof.

Mr. James P Mathew gave an introduction to the activities of Insight, and Insight’s future plans. Mr. P. Balaraman demonstrated how a visually challenged person can seamlessly use a computer as good as others, much to the amazement of the audience.

The two day conference was inaugurated by Dr. Ajay Kumar IAS, Secretary, IT Department, and Dr. Rethan U Kelkar, Director, Kerala State IT Mission, delivered the keynote address.
